26th E-auction will be held by Prasar Bharti on 15th February for filling up of vacent slots. This time there have been few changes due to change in satellite.

Because there have been a shift in the satellite from Insat 4B to GSAT 15. Many new slots have been added. The slots have been divided into 2 categories. Doordarshan has set a reserve price of Rs 2.00 crore per Regional DTH slot and Rs 4.30 crore per General DTH slot
Free Dish alongwith Service Tax @ 14.5% (including swachh bharat tax of 0.5%) of Total Bid Amount. The 2nd
Installment amount of Rs.1.10 Crore to be deposited by the successful
channel in the second month from the placement of the channel. The
Balance Bid amount should be deposited on or before Six Months from the
placement of the channel on DD Free Dish failing which the deposited
amount will be forfeited and channel will be discontinued from DD Free
Dish after the 21 days discontinuation notice.
